What Is Code Red?
Code Red allows product resellers to import one or more of their supplier's catalogues into their Sage Stock Files and to maintain them via regular upgrade facility. The upgrade is structured in such a way that only new products and price amendments are changed during the upgrade. The products can be maintained as non stock items which allows for full sales history recording on items shipped from the supplier directly to the customer. Where a product can be sourced from more than one supplier, using the same product number, the system allows for the generation of prefix and suffix codes to distinguish suppliers. Where a code is duplicated a suffix will automatically be generated on import to the stock files.
